Brevity is the copywriter's friend. After over 20 years of writing content, that's the best piece of advice that I could give to anyone that wants to write. I work on many different types of media and love trying to come up with the perfect headline or phrase. I also enjoy collaborating with other writers, art directors and designers.

My professional background began as a copy editor within the Dayton's Department Store marketing department. I made the move to copywriter with Northern Tool & Equipment then MacDermid ColorSpan for a bit. My next stop was Best Buy, where I became a senior copywriter. After that, it was 10 years writing with Target Creative, then 5 years at UnitedHealthcare as an associate creative director. I'm really looking forward to my next adventure, whether it be as a copywriter, content writer, content specialist, communication specialist or creative director.
